'Patriotic-styled'- and/or truly nicely executed! - multi-coloured, TR-period vehicle- ie. bicycle-flag (ie. 'Fahrrad-Fahne') depicting various national flags and text: 'Olympia-Ort - Garmisch-Partenkirchen'
The neat - and somewhat larger-sized! - vehicle- (ie. bicycle-) flag (ie. 'Fahrrad-Fahne') measures from point to back approximately 35 cms. and is nicely constructed from multi-coloured linnen and that shows (on both sides!) a nicely printed illustration of a mountain coupled with various national flags and text that simply reads: 'Olympia-Ort - Garmisch-Partenkirchen' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used-), condition. The decorative 'Fahne' is (I deem) just moderately used and does show some minimal age and/or staining caused by slight usage and/or decades of storage (it is however totally void of any damage or alike as can be seen on the pictures). The neat piece is 'double-sided' and still retains both its period 'attachment-cords' in place (which were intended to attach it to a bicycle or vehicle) as can be noticed on the pictures. I am convinced that this is a not that often encountered TR-item that was issued to commemorate the Olympic (winter) Games as held in the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the year 1936!
