Pair of WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps: 'Wachtmeister eines (Sturm)Art.-Abts. o. Rgts.'
This is an attractive - moderately used and/or fully matching! - pair of typical 'standard-issued'- (ie. non-'tailor-made'-) pattern, WH (Heeres) early- (ie. mid-) war period- (ie. 'M41'- ie. 'M43'-pattern) NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterklappen für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as was piped in the desirable bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Wachtmeister o. Feldwebel eines (Sturm)Artillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments' (or: sergeant who served within an artillery-unit or regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, field-grey-coloured and/or typical woolen-based 'upperdecks' and that measure approximately 12 cms. in length each - show the neat bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and/or desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - that show the silverish-grey-toned (ie. 'dotted'-pattern) NCO-braid and a pair of (regular-sized, zinc-based and somewhat stained) pips period-attached - come naturally mounted onto their period (regular-shaped) tongues attached and come both in an overall nice- (ie. fully 'text-book') condition overall (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair only shows moderate wear and/or age and is just nicely preserved over the years (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem this an excellent occasion to acquire a neat NCO-type, non-privately-purchased '(Sturm)Artillerie'-related shoulderstrap-pair for a justified price!
