This is an attractive - and just moderately used! - example of a reddish-brown-coloured- and/or genuine leather-based, so-called: 'Mauser 7.65 mm. Pistole'-soft-shell holster being a neatly (and clearly!) maker- maker- (ie. 'Schambach & Co. - Berlin'-) marked, 'WaA'-stamped and/or: '1942'-dated example that comes in a clearly issued- and/or just moderately used, condition. The holster is naturally fully serviceable (the leather 'closing'-flap (and belt-attachment-loop) are both original to the piece and are not re-sewn nor replaced or alike). The piece has its full and/or undamaged stitching and shows a clearly present makers'-logo, a: 'WaA'-code and clearly visible date-stamp in place (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is completely souple and servicable and has not been cleaned nor polished and is still a bit dirty and stained as recently found. It should be noted that these attractive brownish-toned soft-shell holsters as were (I deem) specifically intended for the 7,65 mm. Mauser-pistols did not saw wide-spread usage and can therefore easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply a great example that will be hard to be upgraded!
