Never before (by me) encountered, WWII- (ie. TR-) period, zinc-based fire-brigade (ie. 'Feuerwehr'-) related breast-badge as was (I deem) specifically intended for: 'Freiwilligen Feuerwehr'-staff
This is an attractive - I deem simply never worn ie. 'still virtually mint'! - WWII- (ie. TR-) period, zinc-based (and somewhat converse-shaped) voluntary fire-brigade (ie. 'Feuerwehr'-) related breast-badge (ie. Brustabzeichen) as was (I deem) specifically intended for usage by: 'Freiwilligen Feuerwehr'-staff-members and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved- and/or fully untouched, condition. The silverish-bronze-toned (and truly pronounced and detailed!) badge is (I deem) executed in zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') and comes mounted onto a sheet-metal-based 'backing-plate' with attached thin-shaped paper. The badge is period- attached by means of 4 copper-based prongs which are still present (as can be noticed on the pictures). The neat badge - which I have never before encountered! - is totally void of any wear nor age and can easily be graded: 'virtually mint'. I deem that I have priced this attractive, and surely unusually found 'Freiwilligen Feuerwehr'-example, accordingly!
