WH (Heeres) 'Schützenschnur - Stufe 1' (of the second pattern) having a neat, aluminium-based eagle-device period-attached
This is an attractive - clearly issued and/or used but nevertheless nicely preserved! - example of a very detailed so-called: WH (Heeres) 'Schützenschnur' (or: shooting- ie. marksmanship-lanyard) being a piece of the lowest- ie. first grade (ie. '1. Stufe') and having a detailed, bright-silver-toned- and (I deem alumnium-based) plaque ie. shield (being of the second pattern) period-attached and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The lanyard has a field-grey-coloured and/or typical woolen-based 'backing' attached as per regulation (as can be seen on the pictures). The back of the lanyard is, moreover, neatly 'backed' with greyish-silver-coloured linnen as is more often seen (as can be seen on the see pictures). The piece was (I deem) only moderately worn and just shows moderate wear (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a decorative example of a 'WH Schützenschnur der 1. Stufe' that will be hard to be upgraded and that is I deem accordingly priced!
