WH Czech-occupation- (ie. 'Anschluss'-) medal: '1. Oktober 1938' being a neat (and virtually mint!) example that came together with its full-length ribbon as issued and/or recently found
This medal (ie. 'Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938') was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czechoslovakia that started on: '1. Oktober 1938' and is an attractive and/or truly very detailed- (most certainly issued, once-mounted and I deem hardly worn-) example having great pronounced detail. The medal on offer here has a very nicely preserved (and fully present!) bright golden-bronze-toned finish that is void of any tarnish nor stains: it has simply never been cleaned nor polished and truly retains all of its period golden-toned- (ie. 'Brennlacquered-') finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The detailed medal came together with its non-confectioned- (ie. pre-folded- and full length ie. 20 cms.-sized) piece of ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt'). Simply an attractive and complete Czech 'Anschluss'-medal-set that is I deem accordingly priced!
