Unusal item that originated from a German soldier: a Russian, larger-sized and/or WWII-period, enamelled star-shaped cap-badge showing the communist logo on a bright-red-coloured surface

This is an unusal item that originated from a German soldier: a certainly Russian, WWII-period- and/or somewhat larger-sized, neatly enamelled (and two-pieced) star-shaped cap-badge showing the communist logo on a bright-red-coloured and/or neatly enamelled 'star'-shaped surface and that comes in an overall nice- (and I deem clearly used- ie. worn- ie. most certainly cap-removed-), condition. The badge - which is somewhat larger-sized and that has an approximate height of 3,2 cms. - has been clearly worn and shows some minimal aging (it is, however, void of any enamel damage as can be seen on the pictures). The badge retains both its original (and typical copper-based) prongs (which are still functional). Simply a neat and unusual 'German'-acquired 'war-souvenir' that most certainly originated from the Russian-campaign!
