This is a truly attractive - and with certainty very scarcely encountered! - silver-toned (and with certainty French-produced!), WH-related 'souvenir-plaque' ie. key-holder (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. Auszeichnungsplakette') showing an illustration of the famous 'Arc de Triomph' in Paris and that shows on its back the text: 'Besetzung von Paris - 14 Juni 1940' and that comes as stored for decades and that comes in an overall wonderful and truly nicely preserved, condition. The neat - smaller-sized- and/or regular-weight-piece (having an approximate diameter of 3,5 cms.) has truly pronounced detail and was never cleaned nor polished: it has maintained a neat typical, silver-toned age-patina (but also shows some minimal tarnish as can be seen on the pictures). The back of the medal shows the engraved text as mentioned above (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece came as issued and/or stored for decades. These attractive - I deem semi-official - souvenir-pieces could be acquired by the troops in occupied France. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that it also bears a (French) manufactureres'-code that reads: 'Fr' as can be seen on the pictures, Simply an attractive - and with certainty unusually encountered! - French-produced, WH-related 'souvenir-plaque' ie. key-holder!
