3-pieced WH (Heeres etc.) 'Feld-/Bandspange'
This is an attractive - and unusually seen! - 3-pieced, WWII-period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') showing respectively the ribbons for two (WWII- ie. TR-period-) so-called: 'WH-Dienstauszeichnungen der 3. u. 4. Klasse' (or WH loyal-service medals as awarded for four- ie. twelve years of loyal service both having a (golden- ie. silver-coloured-) eagle-device attached and a: 'Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938' (or: Czech 'Anschluss'-medal) as was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czechoslovakia that started on: '1. Oktober 1938' and that comes with a firmly attached miniature medal attached, all three ribbons (and 'Auflage') coming in a wonderful- (and only moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The ribbons are of the regular (ie. smaller), ribbon-bar-size and measure approximately 1 cms. each (as is more often encountered). The 'Spange' comes in a very nice condition overall and is not 'backed' with a piece of wool but comes mounted onto a chromed-metal 'backing-plate' (as more often). The attached (and very detailed!) devices shows some minimal age ie. tarnish but have been nicely preserved. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example was confectioned in the so-called: 'Austrian manner. ' This particular example was in my opinion only moderately worn ie. used: it does show some usage-marks and/or minimal aging ie. wear. Simply an attractive 'Feld- o. Bandspange' having an desirable combination: great to decorate almost any WWII-tunic!
