Single, hand-embroidered, SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen'-) collar-patch (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Generale') being a piece as was intended for usage by an: 'SA-Gruppenführer'
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless very rarely encountered! - bright-red-coloured- and neatly hand-embroidered, SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen'-) collar-patch (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Generale') being a piece as was intended for usage by an: 'SA-Gruppenführer' that has losy its 'RzM'-etiket and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem issued- and just moderately worn- ie. once tunic-attached-), condition. The piece - which is constructed from the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured- and/or (typical) 'smooth-type'- wool - shows a bright-silver-toned (albeit somewhat tarnished- ie. slightly corroded) 'oakleave'-device and one pip (which are both executed in neat hand-embroidery as can be seen on the pictures). The tab was (I deem) clearly used- and/or tunic-attached. It is neatly backed with a piece of 'buckram'-based material (as can be seen on the pictures) and does show some minimal wear and/or storage-age only. Initially, in the SA (and NSKK and SS) the rank of 'Gruppenführer' was considered equivalent to a full general, but became regarded as equivalent to 'Generalleutnant' after 1934. Simply a very attractive - and very rarely encountered! - SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen'-) general-officers'-collar-tab that is not that often offered for sale and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
