WH (Heeres) 'tropical'-issued, trade- and/or special-career insignia (ie. machine-embroidered 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as was intended for an army: 'Sanitäter' (or medical-orderly)
This is an attractive - and actually not that easily found! - WH (Heeres) 'tropical'-issued, trade- and/or special-career insignia (ie. machine-embroidered 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as was specifically intended for usage by an army: 'Sanitäter' (or medical-orderly) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The patch is neatly machine-embroidered on a yellowish-brown- (ie. beige-coloured and/or (typical) linnen-based background and shows a neat (somewhat darked toned) 'reinforced border' as is more often seen. The patch that shows a (detailed and/or neatly machine-embroidered) 'aesculapus'-sign as executed in bright-yellow-coloured linnen is not maker-marked and just shows some minimal staining (I deem simply caused by years of storage only). The piece is not additionally 'backed' as more often seen (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a nice occasion to acquire a neat and minty(!) 'tropical' ie. DAK- (or 'Deutsches Afrikakorps'-) related 'Sanitäter'-related speciality-patch for a competitive price!
