Later-war-period: 'Deutscher Volkssturm'-armband (ie. 'Armbinde') being a truly rarely encountered example as executed in 'BeVo'-weave-pattern
This is a truly very attractive - and with certainty extremely rarely encountered! - specimen of a typical later-war-period, so-called: 'Deutscher Volkssturm'-armband (ie. 'Armbinde') being a specimen as was unusually executed in 'BeVo'-weave-pattern and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem hardly used- nor worn- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. These attractive armbands - which saw usage by the last-ditch 'Wehrmacht'-troops of 1944/1945 - are normally encountered in the regular printed version: they, however, also existed in nicely woven 'BeVo'-weave-pattern (as is the example as on offer here). The attractive piece shows a one-sided, 'off-factory', 'stitched-border' (done in black thread) but was never 'stitched-together' as such and shows 'unfinished ends': it was probably issued but never used nor worn. The armband measures approximately 49 x 7,2 cms. and shows very bright and vivid colours: it just shows some minimal storage-age only and can easily be graded 'virtually mint ie. unissued' (as can be seen on the pictures). This is only the second such rare example that I have ever encountered. Simply a great opportunity to acquire an unissued example of this rarely seen later-war-period armband for a justified price!
