'HJ'- ('Hitlerjugend'-) related commemorative-plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Plakette') entitled: 'H.J. Mannschaftswettkämpfe im Skilauf - Winter 1933/34 - Gebiet 19 Hochland - Sieger'
This is a truly attractive - bright-silver-toned and with certainty not that easily found! - somewhat larger-sized (ie. having an approximate diameter of 7,2 cms.) so-called: 'HJ'- ('Hitlerjugend') related commemorative-plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Plakette') that is showing a superimposed text on its back that simply reads: 'H.J. Mannschaftswettkämpfe im Skilauf - Winter 1933/34 - Gebiet 19 Hochland - Sieger' and that comes in an overall very nice condition. The very detailed commemorative-plaque (which was awarded during a ski-competion held in late 1933) is executed in typical, silver-toned (and I deem 'Buntmetall'-based) metal: it shows (on its front) a neat and detailed enamelled 'HJ-Raute' (that is void of any damage) that is placed on top of an 'Edelweiss'-flower and that is showing two crossed skis. On the other side the piece shows the superimposed text: 'H.J. Mannschaftswettkämpfe im Skilauf - Winter 1933/34 - Gebiet 19 Hochland' and shows the engraved text: 'Sieger' (denoting that this example was intended ie. awarded to the winner of the competition (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows, moreover, a clearly present makers'-designation that reads: 'H. Wittmann - München 2 SO'. Simply an attractive 'HJ'- ('Hitlerjugend'-) related 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Plakette' that will be very hard to be upgraded and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
