'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 1st class) being an (I deem) early-war-period-produced (albeit non-maker-marked) example by 'K&Q' that comes complete in its specific etui
This is an attractive - and I deem just moderately used- and/or worn! - example of an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 1st class) being an (I deem) early-war-period produced (albeit non-maker-marked) example that comes complete in its specific (and equally nicely preserved!) etui as issued and/or recently found. The cross - which is non-vaulted ie. non-converse-shaped as more often - has most certainly never been cleaned and retains a superb age-patina and/or great pronounced detail. This example - which I deem is an example as was produced by the maker (ie. Hersteller) named: 'Klein u. Quenzer A.G' (ie. 'Hersteller 65') - comes naturally mounted onto its functional set-up. The back of the cross is just minimally stained (but was never cleaned nor polished though). The (flute-shaped) pin and typical catch (ie. set-up) are naturally unaltered and/or fully functional. The etui comes also in a very fine and complete condition: the silver-rimmed cross that figures on the etui's top is in a very nice and totally undamaged condition whereas the beige-coloured- and (simulated) velvet-like interior is also fully present and in place (it does just show some minimal age and/or staining). The cross was never part of a collection and was recently found at a private-household in Germany. I deem that this attactive - matching and fully untouched! - IC-set is accordingly priced!
