'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' being a (typical) non-maker-marked example by a (by me) unidentified maker (ie. 'Hersteller')

The attractive piece - which was presmably issued but that was simply never worn nor mounted - came together with its folded and/or non-confectioned, darker-red-toned (and approx. 29 cms. long-sized-) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') as issued and/or found. The cross - which is totally void of any makers'-designation - was with certainty never cleaned and has an untouched and/or attractive age-patina: it also retains a fair bit of its so-called: 'hochpolierte Kanten' (or: polished sides) and has just a minimally darkened- (ie. stained or tarnished) finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The cross has a very nicely preserved, black-finished (ie. somewhat 'satin-like'- ie. somewhat matted-) core: it is totally void of any damage nor paint-loss (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is just a tiny bit dusty and/or stained but was never cleaned nor polished. This IC was recently found at a German private-household and was never before in collectors'-hands. Simply an attractive, non-maker-marked 'EK II. Klasse' that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
