Single, - typically Dutch-produced! - example of an NJS- (or: 'Nationale Jeugdstorm'-) related collar-patch (ie. 'Kraagspiegel') as intended for a: 'Hoofdhopman'
This is an attractive - regrettably single but nevertheless fairly rarely encountered! - example of an NJS- (or: 'Nationale Jeugdstorm'-) related collar-patch (or in Dutch language: 'NJS-kraagspiegel voor officieren') being an attractive and detailed, hand-embroidered example that was intended for officers'-usage by a member holding the rank of a: 'Hoofdhopman' and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved- (and I deem never used- nor worn-), condition. The attractive patch - which is executed in (bright) golden-toned braid on a typical, darker-blue-coloured- and/or felt-woolen-based background - measures approximately: 8 x 6,7 cms. shows three, golden-toned- and 'braid'-based stars and a double (identically-styled) rank-stripe (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was presumably never worn nor once tunic-attached (it was even never folded into shape) but comes in a truly very nicely preserved condition without showing any defaults: it is neatly backed with a piece of beige-white-coloured linnen (as can be seen on the pictures). This NJS-officers'-collar-patch originates from an advanced collection of NSB- ie. Dutch collaboration-related items that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive - and truly rarely found! - NJS- (or: 'Nationale Jeugdstorm'-) related 'NJS-kraagspiegel voor officieren' ie. 'Hoofdhopman' that is with certainty accordingly priced: only the first such neat NJS-item I ever had on offer!
