Pair of RAD- (ie. 'Reichsarbeitsdienst') general-officers'-type shoulderboards (of the 3rd pattern) as intended for a high-ranked RAD-general-officer ('höhere Führer o. Generalarbeitsführer')
The truly attractive - fully matching and with certainty rarely encountered! - pair of RAD- (ie. 'Reichsarbeitsdienst') general-officers'-pattern shoulderboards (ie. 'Schulterstücke für höhere Führer o. Generalarbeitsführer des Reichsarbeitsdienstes') was intended for usage by a high-ranked RAD-general-officer (ie. 'Generalarbeitsführer') and comes in an (I deem) just moderately used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-, conditon. The boards on offer here are of the third- (and final) pattern type (as was used between the years 1941 and 1945) and is constructed from the specific, black-coloured- and/or: typical 'velvet'-type wool and having the (typical) golden-toned (and/or 'Cellueon'-based) upperdecks showing the silver-toned braid (having the typical black-toned, center-thread) as can be seen on the pictures. The attractive pair was I deem used as such and was I deem once tunic-attached: it just shows some minimal age ie. staining simply caused by minimal wear and/or decades of storage (as can be seen on the pictures). This interesting shoulderboard-pair originated from a smaller RAD-related insignia-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. It should be noted that these RAD-related, general-officers'-type shoulderboard-sets as were intended for: 'RAD-Führer des höhere Dienstes o. Generalarbeitsführer' can easily be graded: 'rare'. I deem that this very attractive pair is accordingly priced!
