Zinc-based, WWI-period ie. 'Pioniere'-related ID-disc with dual stamped unit-/name-designation: 'Albert Birnstein 8.10.83. Gera - Rj.L.Pi.Komp.308. Nr.32' ie. 'Pi.Ers.Nr.11. Pi.K.308'

This is an attractive example of a greyish-coloured- (and/or typical zinc-based) I deem WWI-period and 'Pionier-Truppen'- (ie. army-engineers-) related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that reads: 'Albert Birnstein 8.10.83. Gera - Rj.L.Pi.Komp.308. Nr.32' ie. on its back: 'Pi.Ers.Nr.11. Pi.K.308' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The attractive disc comes in overall nice condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (it shows somewhat torn-out holes as can be seen on the pictures). The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty). The disc originates from a larger ID-disc collection that was compiled over many years. Simply an attractive and honest WWI-period- ie. 'Pioniere-Truppen'-related ID-disc that is with certainty accordingly priced!
