DRK nurses'-badge entitled: 'Schwesternschaft' being a medium-sized specimen being a maker- (ie. 'A. Stübbe - Berlin'-) marked example
This is an attractive - albeit period-repaired but actually still scarcely found! - neatly enamelled so-called: DRK (ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' or: German Red Cross) nurses'-badge that is entitled: 'Schwesternschaft' being a (desirable!) medium-sized version that shows a clearly present makers'-designation: 'A. Stübbe - Berlin' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit I deem moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The piece was clearly worn but is NOT denazified and does show some (minimal) usage marks as can be noticed on the pictures: moreover, does it show some regular wear and shows some minor scratches ie. wear-marks (as can be seen on the pictures). The lapel-pin is nicely maker-marked: 'Ges.Gesch. - A. Stübbe - Berlin' and is (I deem) also is engraved with a (unique!) bearers'-number (something that is regrettably obscured by the tin as was applied to re-attach the pin as can be noticed on the pictures). The badge comes mounted onto its still functional but re-attached pin and/or pin-/catch (set-up). A similar badge is also figured in the 'Heering-Hüsken'-lapel-pin-catalogue, where it is given the unique reference-number: 5613XH. The badge on offer here was never cleaned and shows an attractive (silverish-toned) patina on its back. This is the medium-sized version (having an approximate diameter of 3,2 cms.). Still an attractive and honest example of this desirable DRK 'Schwesternschaft' lapel-pin that is not that often offered for sale and that is I deem priced according to its re-attached pin!
