Golden-class, 'Pol.-Dienstauszeichnung 1. Stufe' that comes with its accompanying ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt')
This is a truly very attractive example of a golden-class: 'Polizei-Dienstauszeichnung 1. Stufe' (or: police loyal-service medal first class as was awarded for 25 years of loyal service within the various TR-era police-services) and that came together with its (non-confectioned and full-length) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem issued- albeit never used- nor mounted-), condition. The service-medal shows a clearly present makers-designation: '16' stamped into its ring: as such it can be attributed to the desirable maker named: 'Alois Rettenmaier' as was based in the town of Schwäbisch-Gmünd. It truly retains gorgeous details and still shows all of its 'off-factory' polished-sides (ie. 'hochpolierte Kanten'). The medal is just a tiny bit tarnished but truly retains a great, bright-golden-toned age-patina overall (it has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished). The award came together with its original, folded- and non-confectioned- (ie. approximately 15 cms. long- and/or: 5,3 cms. wide-sized) cornflower-blue-coloured ribbon (which shows a golden-yellow-toned- and nicely interwoven police-eagle-device as to be expected). Simply a very nicely preserved 25-yrs. police loyal-service-medal that will be very hard to be upgraded and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
