Pair of WH (Heeres) 'M36 o. M40'-pattern, 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps: 'Uffz. u. Offiz.-Anw. des Pz-Jäg.-Abtgs. 4'
The truly very attractive - entirely 'text-book' and fully matching! - pair of typical 'standard-issued'- (ie. 'non-privately-purchased'!) pattern, so-called: 'M36 o. M40'-pattern (and rounded-styled!) WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair is piped in the bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour and comes in an overall nicely preserved (and just moderatly used- and/or worn-), condition. The neat straps - that measure approximately 11,5 cms. in length each - have the desirable bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured- and/or (typical) 'silk-like'-type piping attached as were as such intended for usage by an NCO (and officers'-candidate!) having the (unusually seen!) rank of an: 'Unteroffizier u. Offiziers-Anwärter des Panzerjäger-Abteilungs 4' (or: junior Panzer-NCO ie. junior-sergeant and officers'-candidate who served within the anti-tank- ie. tank-destroyer unit, numbered: '4'). The neat shoulderstraps - which originate from a larger cloth- ie. shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site - are typical 'standard-issued'-examples that have the darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks': they were - I deem - just moderately used ie. worn and do show some truly minimal wear, age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps are clear examples of a 'standard-issued'-pattern pair and do show a fully matching pair of (Gothic-styled, larger-sized, bright-silver-toned and/or: aluminium-based) so-called: 'P'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern'), a pair of (equally-styled and somewhat larger-sized) '4'-numerals period-attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Moreover, do they show the (typical) bright-silver-coloured (ie. non-'sub-dued') NCO-braid attached and come in an overall very nice and/or fully undamaged condition (as can be seen on the pictures). Moreover, do they show a (double-sized) slip-on (ie. 'Lasche') each period- (and firmly) attached (which are also executed in similar Heeres-pattern NCO-braid!) denoting that the NCO who wore this pair was an: 'Offiziers-Anwärter' ie. officers'-candidate (as can be seen on the pictures). These very desirable 'M36- o. 40'-pattern, 'cyphered' 'Panzerjäger'-related NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the 'rosaroter'-coloured branchcolour can nowadays easily be graded 'scarce'. Simply a very attractive - and fully matching! - Heeres NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to an: 'Unteroffizier u. Offiziers-Anwärter des Panzerjäger-Abteilungs 4' and that is I deem priced according to its obvious scarcity and/or desirability!
