Pair of WH (Heeres) NCO-type, 'cyphered' shoulderstraps: 'Ofwbl. eines Ersatz-Infanterie-Rgts.'
This is a truly very attractive - and actually quite rarely encountered! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war-period- (ie. 'M41 o. M43'-pattern) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the desirable, white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and I deem just moderately used by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel eines Ersatz-Infanterie-Regiments' (or: senior-NCO ie. sergeant first-class who served within a specific replacement, infantry-regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem just minimally used ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which I deem are of the early- (ie. mid-war-) period ie. so-called: 'M41 o. M43'-pattern - have the field-grey-coloured 'upperdecks' and have the neat, white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The tongues are naturally also present. The straps - which are regular-sized and that measure 12,2 cms. in length each - show the neat, non-sub-dued- (ie. bright-silver-coloured- and/or 'standard'-pattern- ie. 'Heeres-type'-) NCO-braid and a pair of (scarcely seen!) greyish-silver-toned (Gothic-styled, smaller-sized and/or zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based) so-called: 'E'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') and two pairs of (smaller-sized and also zinc-based) pips period-attached denoting the NCO's rank of an: 'Oberfeldwebel'. This rarely seen pair originated from an older and extensive shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. The pair on offer here just shows some truly minimal age, wear and or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and fully 'text-book'! - 'Infanterie-Ersatz'-related NCO shoulderstrap-pair that will be very hard to be upgraded and that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
