Pair of WH (Heeres) 'M36 o. M40'-pattern, EM-type shoulderstraps: 'Sld. der Kradschützenbtle. der Pz.Div. u. Inf.Div. (mot)'
This is a truly very attractive - and actually very rarely encountered! - pair of WH (Heeres), pre- (ie. early-) war-period- (ie. 'M36 o. M40'-pattern, rounded-styled) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps as piped in the very desirable, copper-brown- (ie. 'kupferbrauner'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and just moderately used by! - a: 'Soldat der Kradschützenbtle. der Pz.Div. u. Inf.Div. (mot)' (or: simple soldier who served within a tank- ie. infantry-related, motor-cycle unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit just moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The straps - which I deem are of the early- (ie. pre-war-) period ie. so-called: 'M36 o. M40'-pattern - have the darker-green-coloured 'upperdecks' and have the neat, reddish-copper-brown- (ie. 'kupferbrauner'-) coloured and/or 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which are regular-sized- and that measure 12 cms. in length each - come naturally mounted onto their original tongues. This truly rarely seen pair originated from an older shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. As possibly known, is this typical 'kupferbrauner'-branchcolour very rarely seen and can most certainly be regarded as one of the most rarely encountered branchcolours within the 'Deutsche Wehrmacht': original EM-type pairs are almost never offered for sale and are missing in most shoulderstrap-collections. The pair on offer here just shows some minimal age, wear and or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and fully 'text-book'! - 'Kradschützen'-EM-type shoulderstrap-pair that will be very hard ie. impossible to be upgraded!
