SA (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen') collar-patch-pair (ie. 'Kragenspiegelsatz'): 'SA-Oberscharführer' - 'SA-Standarte J 84' ('SA-Gruppe Hochland o. Bayr. Ostmark')

This is an attractive - fully matching and actually very scarcely seen! - specific SA (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen') collar-patch-pair (ie. 'Kragenspiegelsatz') as executed in light-blue- (ie. 'hellblauer'-) coloured wool as was specifically intended for usage by a NCO ie.: 'SA-Oberscharführer' serving within the: 'SA-Standarte J 84' (ie. presumably a: 'Jäger'-related formation belonging to the: 'SA-Gruppe Hochland o. Bayr. Ostmark') being a just moderately used- and/or carefully tunic-removed pair (of which the numeral-tab still retains its period-attached 'RzM'-etiket). The pieces - that show both a typical 'buckram'-based 'backing' - come in an overall nicely preserved condition and show the (bright-green-toned) 'J 84'-numerals (ie. cyphers or 'Ziffern') as executed in linnen- or wool and that are executed by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei' (as can be seen on the pictures). The rank-tab shows a single (I deem 'Buntmetall'-based) pip and a single stripe of typical SA-rank-braid (denoting the rank of an: 'SA-Oberscharführer'). All three insignia-pieces show some obvious age, staing and/or wear and were with certainty once tunic- ie. shirt-attached. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this particular pair came with a (full-length!) piece of twisted, white-blue-piped 'braid' (as was used for the collar). This interesting SA-insignia-set was found with various other SA-related cloth-insignia and was part of a grouping that was recently uncovered in the USA where it was brought after 1945 as a so-called: 'veteran-bringback'-lot. Simply a nicely preserved - and most certainly scarcely encountered! - SA-Kragenspiegel-pair that belonged to an: 'SA-Oberscharführer' serving within the: 'SA-Standarte J 84' (ie. belonging to the: 'SA-Gruppe Hochland o. Bayr. Ostmark') and that is I deem accordingly priced!
