WH (Kriegsmarine o. Küsten-Artillerie) 'BeVo'-weave pattern side-cap-eagle onto a darker-green-coloured background
This is an attractive example of an (I deem) early- (ie. mid-war-) period, WH (Kriegsmarine o. Küsten-Artillerie) golden-yellow-coloured side-cap-eagle (ie. 'Schiffchenadler für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Kriegsmarine') as was executed in the neat 'BeVo'-weave pattern onto a darker-green-coloured background that was specifically intended for usage onto the various 'Küsten-Artillerie'-related side-caps (ie. 'Schiffchenmützen') throughout the war and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The eagle is executed in golden-yellow-coloured linnen onto a darker-green-coloured (and also linnen-based) background. The piece - which is executed in the so-called: 'BeVo'-weave as to be expected - comes 'as straightly cut-off the role' and just shows some minimal age ie. staining simply caused by decades of storage and/or handling but can naturally easily serve to restore any 'Küsten-Artillerie-Schiffchen'!
