Pair of DRK (ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz') white-piped NCO-type shoulderstraps: 'DRK-Haupthelfer'
This is a neat - fully matching and most certainly not that easily encountered! - pair of of (typical) white-piped, DRK (ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz') NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for a DRK-staffmember holding the rank of: 'DRK-Haupthelfer' (being a rank comparable with a sergeants'- ie. 'Feldwebel'-rank) and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem clearly worn- ie. once tunic-attached-), condition. The unusually seen shoulderstraps - which never had any tongues attached and that were clearly intended to be used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-type - measure approximately 11,5 cms. in length each and come in a clearly used condition, overall. They are constructed from the typical (greyish-blue-coloured) wool and have the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured (and/or woolen-type) piping attached: moreover, do they show the (thicker-styled, silver-toned) DRK-NCO-braid and a pair of (smaller-sized, aluminium-based) pips perdiod-attached (as can be seen on the pictures): the straps just show some minimal age but are totally void of any real damage or alike: the pair has, however, been glued into an album or scrapbook once and does show some glue- ie carton-remains on its back. This neat DRK-insignia-set was never before part of a collection and came as such from a private-household in Germany. Simply an attractive DRK (ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz') shoulderstrap-set as was intended for a DRK-staffmember holding the rank of a: 'DRK-Haupthelfer' and that is (I deem) priced according to its comparative scarcity and/or desirability!
