WH (Luftwaffe) EM- (ie. NCO-) 'down-tailed'-pattern breast-eagle
This particular - and clearly used but nevertheless attractive! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) EM- (ie. NCO-) 'down-tailed'-pattern, breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Luftwaffe') has a 'wingspan' of approximately 8,8 cms. and is nicely machine-embroidered using silverish-grey-coloured linnen and was mounted onto a greyish-blue coloured- (ie. typical 'Luftwaffe'-type- and/or woolen-based) background (as can be seen on the pictures). The eagle was clearly issued and/or moderately used- ie. worn: it was once tunic-attached and does show some minimal age, wear and/or staining simply caused by moderate wear and/or decades of storage (but is void of any damage): some of the period stitching-holes are still present and/or visible. These early-pattern LW-breast-eagles could be found on the 'LW-Viertaschen-Rock' and also saw usage on the early-pattern 'LW-Fliegerblusen'. Simply an attractive - and not that easily found! - enlisted-mens'- (ie NCO-) pattern example that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
