Single, WH (Luftwaffe) 'cyphered' EM-type shoulderstrap: 'Soldat der Luftnachrichten-Abtlgs. des Oberbefehlshabers der LW'
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless very scarcely found! - neatly 'cyphered', WH (Luftwaffe) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap as piped in the typical light-brown- (ie. 'hell- o. kupferbrauner'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and clearly used by! - a: 'Soldat der Luftnachrichten-Abteilungs des Oberbefehlshabers der Luftwaffe' (or: simple signals'-soldier and member within the specific unit that served for the commander of the Deutsche LW) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used- ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - measures approximately 11,8 cms. in length and comes without tongue: it was clearly worn as a strap of the 'sew-in'-pattern and is in all facets a 'text-book'-example and comes in a nice condition overall: it is just moderately used and/or worn. The strap - which has the woolen-type piping attached - does not show any defaults whatsoever: just some regular usage ie. regular wear is noticable and/or present. The strap shows the embroidered, Gothic-styles so-called: 'OL'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') which are executed in so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei'. The strap shows some normal age and/or moderate wear (no damage nor mothing or alike is present). This attractive shoulderstrap was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection: it once belonged to a: 'Soldat der Luftnachrichten-Abteilungs des Oberbefehlshabers der Luftwaffe' who most certainly was issued and used this strap and stored it as such for decades!
