'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' being a non-maker-marked example by: 'Wilhelm Deumer'

The attractive cross - which is a typical non-vaulted- (ie. non-converse-) shaped and - I deem - quite early-war-period example - has never been cleaned nor polished and retains a very attractive age-patina and/or nice, pronounced detail as to be expected: regrettably, comes the silver-toned 'back-plate' a bit loose on its top (as can be noticed on the pictures). This example - which is I deem an evident albeit non-maker-marked specimen as was produced by the desirable maker: 'Wilhelm Deumer' as was based in the town of Lüdenscheid - comes naturally firmly mounted onto its original- (and naturally unaltered and/or fully functional!) flute-shaped pin and/or typical catch (-set-up). The cross - which is a magnetic example as more often - shows a neatly 'blackened'- and/or fairly 'satin-like'- (ie. somewhat 'shiny') inner-core that truly retains most of its period colour. It is void of any damage but does show (as stated above a minimally 'loosened backplate' (as can be seen on the pictures): it has, however, clearly been issued and/or worn and is still a bit stained and/or dirty (it was never cleaned though and retains most of its 'off-factory'-applied polished sides (ie. 'hochpolierte Kanten'). I deem that I have priced this still attractive and - I deem - fairly early-period 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' by 'Wilhelm Deumer' according to its present condition!
