Pair of WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps: 'Feldwebel der Panzergrenadier-Truppen'
This is a very attractive - just moderately used- abeit nevertheless not that easily found and/or truly fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), mid- (ie. later-) war-period, so-called: 'M41 o. M43'-pattern, NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') having the desirable the neat bright-green- (ie. 'wiesen- o. hellgrüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for a: 'Feldwebel der Panzergrenadier-Truppen' (or: NCO ie. sergeant who served within a later-war-period, infantry-related rifle-unit or regiment) and that comes in overall very nice- (I deem just moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The neat straps - which are both approximately 12 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-pattern' and/or: field-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have as stated above the bright-green- (ie. 'wiesen- o. hellgrüner'-) coloured and desirable 'silk-like'-pattern piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstraps have the (typical) bluish-grey-coloured (ie. truly sub-dued-pattern) NCO-braid attached and show a matching pair of (regular-sized- and/or aluminium-based) pips period-attached denoting the rank ie. function of a: 'Feldwebel der Panzergrenadier-Truppen'. The pair came mounted onto its original tongues and does just show some moderate age-, wear and/or staining only. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that the NCO who wore this pair was evidently promoted from: 'Unteroffizier' to 'Feldwebel' something that can be corroborated by the presence of a (later) attached horizontally-place 'stripe' of bright-silver toned NCO-braid (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and fairly mid- (ie. later-) war-period - 'Heeres' NCO-type, shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Feldwebel der Panzergrenadier-Truppen': I deem that I have priced this very attractive (and most certainly desirable!) shoulderstrap-pair, accordingly!
