Pair of WH (Heeres) 'M36- o. M40'-pattern) 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps: 'Ofwbl. des Gebirgsjäger-Rgts. 98'

This is attractive - fully matching and actually in this particular branchcolour not that easily found! - pair of neatly 'cyphered' and (I deem) typical 'standard-issued'- (ie. 'non-tailor-made'), WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M36 o. M40'-pattern) shoulderstraps as piped in the darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an NCO (ie. 'Oberfeldwebel' or: sergeant first-class) who served within the: 'Heeres Gebirgsjäger-Regiments 98' (or: army mountain-troopers regiment, numbered: '98') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn- and/or most certainly once tunic-attached-), condition. The neat straps are just moderately used and/or worn and do show both some minimal wear, age and/or staining but are void of any damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which are constructed from the typical 'smooth-type wool' - show the desirable darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type piping attached and measure approximately 12,4 cms. in length each. The straps show the 'standard-issue'-pattern, bluish-grey-coloured (ie. 'sub-dued') NCO-braid period-attached and show each a set of (silver-toned, 'Buntmetall'-based and larger-sized) '9'- and/or '8'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') and a pair of (equally-styled and regular-sized) pips period-attached and come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues (as can be seen on the pictures). These type of shoulderstraps are of the typical (early- ie. pre-) war-period pattern straps and were worn in the period around 1940/1941 (and were 'worn-out' even during the rest of the war). The pair originated from a larger cloth- ie. shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive - and with certainty very desirable! - 'Gebirgsjäger o. Jäger'-related, NCO-type 'Heeres' shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Gebirgsjäger-Regiments 98' and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
