Pair of WH (Kriegsmarine) 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboards: 'Oberleutnant der Verwaltung' (onto their 'Auf der Steg'-mounting)

This is an attractive - and/or fully matching! - neatly 'cyphered', WH (Kriegsmarine) related, officers'-type shoulderboards (as was I deem specifically intended for usage oton the various field-grey- ie. white-coloured navy tunics) as was intended for usage by a junior-officer having the rank of an: 'Oberleutnant der Verwaltung' (ie. lieutnant first-class who served within a naval administrative-unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem just moderately worn- and/or used-), condition. The shoulderboards - which are 'text-book' in all facets and that measure approximately 11,7 cms. in length each - are executed in the typical, darker-blue-coloured- and/or 'smooth-type' wool having the silverish-grey- (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued') upperdecks. The boards come mounted onto their specific 'Auf der Steg'-mounting (and were as such I deem intended for usage on a summer- or white-coloured tunic). The boards just some moderately usage and age caused by decades of storage only (as can be seen on the pictures). Both boards show two (regular-sized, fully matching, neatly golden-toned- and I deem 'Buntmetall'-based) so-called: 'Merkurstab'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') and two (identical and equally-styled) pips, period-attached (denoting the officers'-rank of: 'Oberleutnant der Verwaltung'). All four devices are just minimally tarnished but are still very nice and/or pronounced (as can be seen on the pictures). Of interest is, moreover, the fact that this pair came with a pair of 'Schraubknöpfe' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The boards - which originate from a private-household where they were recently uncovered - simply show moderate age but are totally void of any damage or alike. It should be noted that all officers'-type, 'Auf der Steg'-boards are quite hard to encounter: those 'cyphered' ones even more so, which grades them easily as 'fairly scarce'. Simply an attractive 'cyphered', naval, officers'-type shoulderboard-pair as was specifically intended for usage by an an: 'Oberleutnant der Verwaltung'!
