WH (Kriegsmarine) machine-embroidered: career- ie. specialist-armbadge (ie. 'Tätigkeits-Abzeichen'): 'Sonderausbildung für Signalmaat'

This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - WH (Kriegsmarine) neatly machine-embroidered, so-called: career- ie. specialist-armbadge (ie. 'Tätigkeits-Abzeichen') as executed in multi-coloured linnen onto a white-coloured (and also linnen-based) 'backing' as was specifically intended to signify participation in the: 'Sonderausbildung für Signalmaat' (ie. specific signal-course) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem probably issued- albeit simply never used- nor tunic-attached-), condition. The badge - which was to be mounted on the upper-arm-regions of the various white-coloured, naval (work)tunics - shows a reinforced-border and depicts a detailed and bright-blue-coloured 'anchor'-device with two crossed 'signal'-flags (as can be seen on the pictures). The badge is executed in bright-red- (and bright-blue) coloured linnen onto a beige-white-coloured and/or typical, linnen-based background. The piece does show extraordinary craftmenship and is additonally backed with a piece of white-toned linnen as more often seen. The piece just shows some minimal age ie. staining caused by decades of storage only. It sounds maybe strange but all WH (Kriegsmarine) career- ie. specialist-armbadges as specifically related to the various naval 'Signalmatrose'-units arequite hard to encounter and can easily be graded 'scarce'. Simply an attractive example that is I deem with certainty accordingly priced!
