3-pieced WWI-WWII- (ie. 'N.S.D.A.P.'-) related medal-bar (ie.: 'Ordenspange')
This is a decorative - and in this combination with certainty not that easily found! - three-pieced (WWI- ie. WWII- ie. TR-period and specifically 'N.S.D.A.P.'-related!) medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') that respectively shows a WWI-period: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwertern' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwertern'), a: 'N.S.D.A.P. Dienstauszeichnung in Bronze' (ie. being of the '3. Stufe für 10 Jahre treue Dienste') being a non-maker-marked- (and/or so-called: 'heavy-weight') example and a: 'Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen' (aka: 'Westwall'-medal), all three medals coming in an overall very nice- (albeit just minimally used and/or worn-), condition. All three medals are nicely preserved examples that seem to have never been cleaned nor polished: all three come in an equally minimally tarnished- ie. dusty condition and naturally also come mounted onto their period ribbons. The 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwertern' is a nicely preserved (darker-bronze-toned) age-patina shows a clear makers-designation on it back (that reads: 'W.K.') as can be noticed on the pictures. The 'N.S.D.A.P. Dienstauszeichnung in Bronze' (ie. being of the '3. Stufe für 10 Jahre treue Dienste') is a typical zinc (ie. 'Feinzink'-based- ie. so-called: 'heavy-weight'-specimen) that is still very pronounced and detailed: it retains a fully preserved (darker-bronze-toned) age-patina. The 'Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen' (aka: 'Westwall'-medal) is constructed from typical 'Buntmetal'l and retains also all of its original, golden-bronze-toned finish: it is also a tiny bit dirty ie. tarnished, simply caused by minimal wear and/or decades of storage (as can be noticed on the pictures). The 'Ordenspange' comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- (ie. catch-) set-up and is nicely 'backed' with a piece of grey-coloured linnen as is more often seen (as can be seen on the pictures). The medal-bar was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection. The 'Spange' is most certainly a period-compiled- and/or worn piece and is NOT a post-war compilation or alike: it originated as stated above from a private-household and was kept as such for decades. Simply a very attractive - and decorative! - 3-pieced, WWI- ie. WWII- ie. TR-period (and specifically 'N.S.D.A.P.'-related!) medal-bar- ie. 'Ordenspange' that is in my opinion accordingly priced!
