WH (Heeres) cuff-title ie. armband (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen') entitled: 'Feldgendarmerie' (being a typical 'BeVo'-woven example)
This is a truly very attractive - and I deem issued and clearly used- and/or worn! - example of a WH (Heeres) cuff-title ie. armband (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen') entitled: 'Feldgendarmerie' (being of the typical, so-called: 'BeVo'-woven-pattern) that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. non-shortened- ie. full-length and carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The armband - that shows some staining and that is a tiny bit wrinkled - measures approximately 43 cms. in length and both ends do show some minimal fraying as is more often encountered (something that can be seen on the pictures). The armband - which originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered - was as such most certainly stored for decades and just shows minimal wear and/or storage-age only. The cuff-title that is of the typical so-called: 'BeVo'-woven-pattern is executed in the typical brownish-coloured linnen and shows the machine-stitched title in bluish-grey-coloured (and also linnen-based) thread as is more often encountered: as such does it deal with a typical example that was intended for enlisted-men (and NCOs) ie. being an: 'Ausführung für Unteroffiziere u. Mannschaften der Feldgendarmerie-Truppen'. Simply a very nice - and naturally 100% genuine! - period example that will be hard to be upgraded and that is I deem accordingly priced!
