Single, mid-war period- (ie.: 'M43'-pattern) WH (Heeres) EM-type shoulderstrap: 'Soldat u. Offz.-Anw. einer Nachschub-Abtlgs.'
The neat -(I deem) somewhat later-war period- (ie. so-called: 'M43'-pattern) - enlisted-mens'-pattern WH (Heeres) 'Nachschub'-related shoulderstrap - which is piped in the neat bright-blue- (ie. 'kornblumenblauer'-) coloured branchcolour - measures approximately 11,2 cms. in length and has the neat bright-blue- (ie. 'kornblumenblauer'-) coloured- (and/or typical 'silk-like'-type-) piping attached (as is more often encountered with these somewhat later-war-period straps). The strap - which was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat einer Nachschub-Abteilungs' (or: simple soldier and presumably driver who served with an army-transport-unit) - comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongue. The strap shows a (double-sized but single-piece-constructed) slip-on (ie. 'Lasche') period- (and firmly) attached (which is executed in silverish-coloured (ie. non-sub-dued) NCO-braid) denoting that the soldier who wore this strap was (I deem) an: 'Offiziers-Anwärter' ie. officers'-candidate (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a neat so-called: 'M43'-pattern, WH (Heeres) EM-type shoulderstrap that was worn and/or used by a: 'Soldat u. Offiziers-Anwärter einer Nachschub-Abteilungs': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
