Pair of WH (Heeres) 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboards: 'Leutnant u. Arzt' who served within the: 'Sanitäts-Trpn.'

The attractive WH (Heeres) shoulderboard-pair is piped in the typical darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour: as such, the pair was intended for usage by a junior army-officer ie.: 'Leutnant u. Arzt' (ie. lieutnant and medical-doctor) who served within the: 'Heeres-Sanitäts-Truppen' (or: army-related, medical-troops). The pair was most certainly issued and worn as such but comes, nevertheless, in an overall very nicely preserved and/or fully untouched, condition. The regular-sized shoulderboards - which are constructed from the darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured, 'smooth-type' (ie. moleskin-like-) wool - come in an excellent condition overall and will be hard to be upgraded (the pair is fully matching as can be seen on the pictures). The somewhat 'sub-dued' appearance of the 'upperdecks' is fully present and/or preserved (something that is to be expected for a 'Heeres'-related shoulderboard-pair). The boards are just a tiny bit 'tarnished' by normal age and/or storage for decades (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards - which measure approximately 10,5 cms. in length each - show a matching pair of the neat (golden-toned, I deem 'Buntmetall'-based- and/or smaller-sized) so-called: 'Aesculapus'-cyphers period-attached denoting the officers'-rank ie. function of: 'Leutnant u. Arzt der Sanitäts-Truppen'. The straps come mounted onto their (smaller-sized) officers'-type tongues which are constructed from darker-blue-toned wool (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps do only show some moderate age and/or wear and are truly void of any damage or alike. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that both devices were attached BEFORE the boards were fully assembled. This attractive pair originated from a small lot of 'cyphered' shoulderstraps and boards that I recently acquired for the web-site: it should, moreover, be noted that all 'cyphered' boards are quite hard to find. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive, officers'-type, Heeres shoulderboard-pair that was intended for a: 'Leutnant u. Arzt' who served within the: 'Sanitäts-Truppen'!
