Pair of WH (Heeres) 'M36- o. M40'-pattern (rounded-style) 'cyphered', EM-type shoulderstraps: 'Soldat u. Mitglied einer Art.-Feuerwerker-Schule'
This is an attractive - and as such actually scarcely encountered and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) early- (ie. pre-war-) period, ie. 'M36- o. M40'-pattern (rounded-style) 'cyphered', EM-type shoulderstraps as piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroterer'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied einer Art.-Feuerwerker-Schule' (or: simple soldier who served within a specific, artillery-related artician ie. exposives-orderly school) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem hardly used nor worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps show the darker-green-coloured and (smooth) woolen-based 'upperdecks' as to be expected and show the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroterer'-) coloured and/or woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps never had tongues attached and was with certainty intended as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern. The straps measure 11,3 cms. in length and show the neat (machine-embroidered), Gothic-styled: 'FS'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') attached which are executed in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured wool ie. linnen as to be expected. The straps hardly show any age nor wear (just some minor staining and/or dust is visible-/present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-type shoulderstrap-pairs can be easily regarded 'scarce'. Simply an attractive and/or early- (ie. pre-) war period, 'cyphered Heeres'-related EM- (ie. former NCO) shoulderstrap-pair as was intended for a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied einer Art.-Feuerwerker-Schule'!
