Superb - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) pre-war-period (ie. 'M-36- o. M40'-) pattern', neatly 'cyphered' EM-type shoulderstraps as was intended for - and worn by! - a: 'Soldat und Mitglied des Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abts. 7'
This is a truly attractive - fully matching and with certainty fairly rarely encountered! - pair of WH (Heeres) pre-war-period (ie. 'M-36- o. M40'-) pattern (rounded style and I deem typically privately-purchased), neatly 'cyphered' EM-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Mannschaften des Heeres') as piped in the neat bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and just minimally worn by! - a: 'Soldat und Mitglied des Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilungs 7' (or: Panzer-soldier who served within the Pz-reconnaisance-related unit, numbered '7') and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem only minimally used ie. worn- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured and/or (boiled) woolen-based 'upperdecks' are textbook 'privately-purchased' in all facets: they lack button-holes and were most certainly intended for usage onto a 'Waffenrock' ie. dress-tunic. They show the neat bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured- and woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps which measure approximately 11 cms. in length each and that come of course in a very nice, ie. fully 'text-book' condition, overall never had any tongues attached and were most certainly worn and used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-type. The straps show the neat (hand-embroidered!) so-called: 'A'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') and '7'-cyphers ie. numerals (which are executed in the bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured wool or linnen as to be expected as can be seen on the pictures). The straps show - as stated above - only minimal usage ie. wear (some age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present as can be seen on the pictures). I deem this a great occasion to acquire a very attractive and most certainly desirable EM-type, 'Panzer-Aufklärungs'-related shoulderstrap-pair: only the first such rarely found pair in this particular enlisted-rank that I have ever had on offer!
