This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless scarcely found! - example of an early-period (ie. 'M36- o. M40'-pattern and/or pointed-styled and as per regulation non-piped) WH (Heeres) 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstrap as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Unterfeldwebel u. Mitglied des Panzerjäger-Regiments 4' (or: NCO and junior-sergeant who served within the anti-tank- ie. tank-destroyer-unit- ie. regiment, numbered: '4') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat strap - which is executed in the darker-green-coloured wool - is void of any piping and is of the generic-pattern as to be expected. The strap measures approximately 11,6 cms. in length and comes mounted onto its original tongue. It shows the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei') '4'-numeral (or: 'Ziffer') attached (which is executed in the bright-pink- ie. 'rosatoter'-coloured wool ie. linnen as to be expected). The strap - which is of the typical 'standard-issued'-pattern - shows as stated above only moderate usage and wear (just some minimal age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present). It should be noted that ALL 'cyphered', NCO-pattern, 'Panzerjäger'-type shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'scarce' and come not that often for sale. In any case a very attractive and early-war-period, 'Heeres-Panzerjäger'-related, NCO-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by an: 'Unterfeldwebel u. Mitglied des Panzerjäger-Regiments 4': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
