Superb - totally 'mint' and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), officers'-type shoulderboards as was piped in the darker-green-coloured branchcolour as was intended for a: 'Leutnant der Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Truppen'

The very attractive - and unusually seen! - WH (Heeres), officers'-type shoulderboard-pair is neatly piped in the typical darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour and was as such intended for usage by a junior-officer holding the rank of a: 'Leutnant der Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Truppen' (or: lieutnant who served within a moutain-troopers-regiment or unit) and comes in an overall very nice- (I deem simply never used- nor worn- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. The shoulderboards are 'text-book'-examples of the 'Heeres'-type, 'Jäger- o. Gebirgjäger'-shoulderboards and have the silverish-grey-coloured (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued'-pattern) 'upperdecks' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The boards show the desirable darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour (and were constructed from the typical 'smooth'-type wool as to be expected). The boards come mounted onto their (typical smaller-sized) officer-type tongues attached. The boards measure approximately 11 cms. in length each and were presumably issued- but simply never worn and do just show some storage-age ie. staining as to be expected. The pair - that was recently found at a German private-household. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this truly 'minty' pair came still packed in its period (typical 'Cellophan'-based!) 'wrapping-pouch' that is moreover still firmly 'tied-together' (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and desirable! - WH (Heeres) officers'-pattern shoulderboard-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant der Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Truppen' and that will be impossible to be upgraded!
