Superb - and fully matching and/or scarcely encountered! - pair of WH (Heeres) hand-embroidered, high-ranked officers'-type collar-patches as was intended for - and with certainty worn by! - a: 'Wehrmachtsbeamte des höheren Dienstes'
This is a truly very attractive - fully matching and truly scarcely encountered! - pair of WH (Heeres), neatly hand-embroidered, high-ranked officers'-type collar-patches as was specifically intended for - and clearly worn by! - a: 'Wehrmachtsbeamte des höheren Dienstes' (= being an administrative-official having the highest rank-variant ie. belonging to the: 'höheren Dienstes') and that comes in overall very nice- (I deem only moderately worn ie. clearly tunic-removed-), condition. The tabs are beautifully executed in minimally tarnished, golden-toned (very detailed!) hand-embroidery on a darker-green-coloured- and/or smooth-woolen-based background and are neatly piped in the bright-green- (ie. 'hellgrüner'-) woolen-type piping as was prescribed per regulation. The rank could be compared with a general-officer and was held by various WH 'Beamte' ie. army-officials (such as for example: 'Oberintendanturrat', 'Landwirtschaftsrat u. 35 Jahre' etc.). The pieces are beautifully constructed (ie. hand-embroidered) using a combination of golden-toned 'Cellueon' and braid: both tabs show superb detail and/or craftmanship. The tabs are naturally 'backed' with the beige-coloured 'buckram'-based cloth and still shows the signs of having once been once tunic-attached. Actually are all these higher-ranked 'Beamten'-insignia quite hard to encounter. Simply a superb pair that is very hard to be upgraded!
