Superb - and fully matching! - pair of blue-coloured WH (Kriegsmarine) 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps as intended for a: 'Signal-Stabsoberfeldwebel' (or: company-sergeant ie. 'Spiess') and that come in a clearly used- ie. 'cut-off', condition
This is a truly attractive - fully matching and with certainty not that easily found! - pair of darker-blue-coloured- and/or typical woolen-based, WH (Kriegsmarine) 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for a: 'Signal-Stabsoberfeldwebel' (or: company-sergeant ie. 'Spiess') and that come in a moderately used- ie. 'clearly cut-off a tunic', condition. The neat straps - which come without tongues and that were most certainly worn as a 'sew-in'-type pair - are - I deem - only moderately used and/or worn: they have the darker-blue coloured and (smooth)woolen 'upperdecks' and show the neat golden-toned metal-based and/or partly hand-embroiderd(!) so-called: 'KM Signal'- ie. anchor-career-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') attached, signifying that the NCO who wore this pair succesfully attended the so-called 'advanced signals-personnel career'. The woolen constructed boards - which measure approximately 11 cms. in length each - have the neat golden-coloured, typical 'Kriegsmarine'-type NCO-braid attached and show three (identical, regular-sized and silver-toned) pips each attached, signifying the soldiers'-rank of: 'Signal-Stabsoberfeldwebel' (or: company-sergeant ie. 'Spiess'). The straps are - I deem - only moderately used and do show some normal wear and/or age. In any case is this a very attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - pair of desirable, WH (Kriegsmarine) 'cyphered'-type shoulderstraps that was intended for a: 'Signal-Stabsoberfeldwebel' (or: company-sergeant ie. 'Spiess'): just the first such neat pair in this particular rank I ever had on offer!
