Pair of WH (Heeres) 'M40 o. M43'-pattern EM-type shoulderstraps: 'Soldat eines Kav. o. Aufklärungs-Rgts.'
This is an attractive - and with certainty not that easily found and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war-period, so-called: 'M40 o. M43'-pattern enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Mannschaften des Heeres') having the desirable golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Soldat eines Kavallerie o. Aufklärungs-Regiments' (or: simple soldier who served within a specific cavalry- ie. reconnaisance regiment or unit) and that comes in overall very nice- (albeit hardly- ie. minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which are both approximately 12,3 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-pattern' and/or: field-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have as stated above the golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured and desirable 'silk-like'-pattern piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair - that came from my private shoulderstrap-collection - comes mounted onto its original tongues and does show some minimal age-, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and fairly early- (ie. mid-) war-period! - 'Heeres' EM-type, shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Soldat eines Kav. o. Aufklärungs-Regiments': I deem that I have priced this truly very attractive pair, accordingly!
