Attractive, silver-toned WH (Heeres) 'Gebirgsjäger'-related item: a semi-official, so-called: 'Truppen-Traditionsabzeichen des 5. Gebirgsjäger-Division' being a genuine silver (ie. '835'-) marked example depicting the famous 'Gams'-symbol
This is an attractive - and actually truly scarcely found! - bright-silver-toned (and genuine silver-based!), WH (Heeres) 'Gebirgsjäger'-related item: a semi-official, so-called: 'Truppen-Traditionsabzeichen des 5. Gebirgsjäger-Division' being a clearly genuine-silver- (ie. (ie. '835'-) marked example depicting the famous 'Gams'-symbol and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem clearly used- ie. worn-), condition. The lapel-pin - that comes mounted onto its somewhat smaller-sized- and unaltered pin - depicts the divisional-symbol of the '5. Gebirgsjäger-Division' (being a mountain-goat or 'Gams'). On its back, it shows the impressed '835'-silver-content-designation (but is void of a makers'-designation as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows most of its silvered finish: it has really nice and/or pronounced detail. This example was never before part of a collection and originates from a German household where it was recently uncovered. Simply a very attractive - and without doubt scarcely seen! - 'Gebirgsjäger'-related, so-called: 'Truppen-Traditionsabzeichen des 5. Gebirgsjäger-Division'!
