Attractive - 'variant'- ie. first-pattern! - WH (Heeres) 'Gebirgsjäger'- (ie. mountain-troopers-) related arm-badge, being a desirable example as was executed in the 'BeVo'-weave pattern on a field-grey-coloured background
This is an attractive - fairly scarcely encountered 'variant'- ie. first-pattern! - WH (Heeres) 'Gebirgsjäger'- (ie. mountain-troopers-) related arm-badge, being a desirable example as was executed in the 'BeVo'-weave pattern on a typical field-grey- (NOT darker-green!) coloured background and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. never used- ie. 'virtually mint'-) condition. The piece is neatly machine-embroidered in the so-called: 'BeVo'-weave-pattern on a field-grey-coloured (and/or linnen-based) background and is showing the famous 'Edelweiss' flower. The piece shows some minimal age and/or staining simply caused by decades of storage only: it came as 'straightly cut-of the role'. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a genuine, early- ie. 'first-pattern'- so-called 'Gebirgsjäger' (mountain-troopers) arm-badge for an interesting price!
