Superb - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) pre- (early-) war-period (ie. 'M36- o. M40'-pattern) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the 'karmesin'-red-coloured branchcolour for a: 'Stabsfwbl. o. Spiess der Veterinär-Trpn. o. Generalsstabes'
The truly attractive - and actually very scarcely seen! - pair of pre- (early-) war-period, WH (Heeres) 'M36- o. M40'-pattern, NCO-type shoulderstraps have the (typical) darker-green-coloured- and/or: typical woolen-based 'upperdecks'. The pair shows the desirable, bright-purple-red- (ie. 'karmesinroter'-) coloured (and woolen-based) branchcolour ie. piping and were as such intended for usage by a: 'Stabsfeldwebel o. Spiess der Veterinär-Truppen o. Generalsstabes' (or: senior NCO ie. company-sergeant who served within an army veterinarian- or staff-unit ie. regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem only moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The straps measure approximately 12,2 cms. in length and come naturally mounted onto their original tongues: the straps show some moderate age, wear and/or staining but have, nevertheless, been nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair shows the ('standard-issue'-pattern and silverish-toned) NCO-braid and six (larger-sized- and aluminium-based) pips period-attached and was with certainly always together and was worn as such as a pair. It should be noted that the bright-purple-red- (ie. 'karmesin-roter'-) coloured branchcolour ranks amongst the rarest branchcolours as used within the: 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'. In any case a very attractive and/or pre- (ie. early-) war-period- and/or: 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for a: 'Stabsfeldwebel o. Spiess der Veterinär-Truppen o. Generalsstabes': only the first such rare pair in this unusual rank I ever had on offer!
