Attractive - albeit regrettably single! - Waffen-SS, EM-type shoulderstrap as piped in the white-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'SS-Mann' who served within the: 'SS-Infanterie-Truppen'
This attractive - and I deem just moderately worn, albeit regrettably single! - Waffen-SS, enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap shows the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour and/or typical 'silk-like'-type piping attached and was as such worn by an SS-member holding the rank of: 'SS-Mann der Infanterie-Truppen' (or: simple soldier who served within the SS-infantry-troops). The strap is in all facets a fully 'text-book' and I deem mid- war- ie. somewhat later-period!) SS-strap and does show the minimal signs of having been used and/or worn as such. The shoulderstrap - that measures approx. 11 cms. sized in length as more often encountered - shows some moderate age simply caused by moderate wear and/or usage. The strap shows a (typical) thinner-shaped tongue attached (as observed on genuine Waffen-SS-pattern straps!) and shows a field-grey-coloured underlay that is constructed from so-called: Italian-type wool aka 'drap Orti' (as can be noticed on the pictures). It should be noted that these original, period Waffen-SS, EM-type shoulderstraps can nowadays easily be graded 'scarce': even more so when they are piped in the not that commonly encountered, white-coloured- (ie. 'SS-Infanterie-Truppen'-related-) branchcolour. I deem that this attractive and textbook Waffen-SS, EM-type shoulderstrap is accordingly priced!
