Neat - and unusually seen! - commemorative D.A.F. ie. N.S.B.O.- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront') related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') as issued to commemorate an: 'N.S.B.O.-Tagung' named the: 'N.S.B.O.-Aufmarsch am 26. u. 27.10.1935 - Gotha'
This is an attractive - and actually unusually seen! - locally-issued so-called: D.A.F. o. N.S.B.O.- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront'- ie. 'Nationalsozialistische Betriebszellenorganisation'-) related 'tinnie' (ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') that was issued to commemorate a specific N.S.B.O.-related event simply named the: 'N.S.B.O.-Aufmarsch am 26. u. 27.10.1935 - Gotha' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit surely issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced badge - which is executed in silverish-bronze-toned- and - I deem- typical tin-based metal - shows the D.A.F.- (ie. N.S.B.O.-) device (ie. hammer and cog-wheel) with at the background an industrial-site and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished. The shield-shaped and regular-sized badge (having an approximate height of 5,3 cms.) is totally void of a makers'-designation and comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up. It should be noted that all 'tinnies' that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'town'- ie. 'Bezirks'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply an attractive, D.A.F./N.S.B.O.-related 'tinnie' ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' that is I deem accordingly priced!
