Attractive - and unusually found! - genuine silver-based, commemorative shooting-contest medal (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. tragbare Schiess-Medaille') entitled: 'Letztes Gauschiessen des Schwarzwaldzollerngau - Ebingen - 15. u. 16. Juni 1935'

This is a nicely preserved - and with certainty not that easily encountered! - TR-period, silver-toned (ie. genuine silver-based- and or: '990'-stamped!) commemorative shooting-contest medal (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. tragbare Schiess-Medaille') entitled: 'Letztes Gauschiessen des Schwarzwaldzollerngau - Ebingen - 15. u. 16. Juni 1935' showing on its front a (detailed!) illustration of a towns'-view and person (coupled with the text: 'Ebingen 1884') and on its back a shooting-aim and oak-leaves (with in its centre a swastika) and text: 'Letztes Gauschiessen des Schwarzwaldzollerngau - Ebingen - 15. u. 16. Juni 1935' and that comes in a minimally worn- (albeit fully undamaged and/or truly nicely preserved-), condition. The medal - that is totally void of a makers'-designation - retains a fully untouched, (tarnished- ie. genuine!) silver-toned surface (as can be seen on the pictures). These attractive 'Erinnerungs- o. tragbare Schiess-Medaillen' were awarded (in similar form and/or model) from 1933 onwards and are actually not that commonly encountered. This attractive - and totally undamaged! - example has an approximate diameter of 3,6 cms. and originates from a German private-household: it came without a ribbon and was never before part of a collection. I deem that I priced this attractive and/or nicely preserved and (truly) 'high-quality-produced' example of an: 'Erinnerungs- o. tragbare Schiess-Medaille' commemorating a shooting-contest named the: 'Letztes Gauschiessen des Schwarzwaldzollerngau - Ebingen' as held in the year 1935, accordingly!
